How to sterilize your menstrual cup?
1. Disinfection in the Microwave / Steamer:
Place your menstrual cup into the silicone cleaning cup and fill it up with water, Make sure the water drowns the menstrual cup. Cover the lid, but leave a certain gap. Then put the cleaning into the macrowave or the steamer.
The water must be boiling for 2-3 minutes the disinfection to be effective. Most customers use medium power level / wattage of the macrowave for 3 - 5 minutes. The cup's lid must not be completely sealed, otherwise the steam produced by the boiling water can not escape, this is important.
After the cleaning cup cooling down, pour the water out, and dry the menstrual cup and cleaning cup, then put the menstrual cup into the silicone cleaning cup for storage.
2. Disinfection with Milton Mini tablets
Fill your cleaning cup with some cold water and dissolve 1 Milton Mini tablet in it. After the tablet is completely dissolved, carefully place your menstrual cup with the stem facing the bottom and completely submerge it. Be careful not to spill the disinfection fluid. Pour the disinfection fluid into the drain after 15 minutes. Do not keep this process more than 15 minutes,or it will cause discoloration of the cleaning cup and the menstrual cup. After this process, clean them with clean water and dry them.
